Sacramental Service
To this day, there are initiates of the Ogdoadic Mysteries who also hold religious offices in the service of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. This enables the Order to administer the sacraments to the general public and to glorify Christ in the celebration of Holy Communion.
We administer the seven sacraments of Baptism, the Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Holy Orders, Matrimony and Anointing of the Sick. In these sacraments, the invisible reality of God is revealed and made accessible.
We support seekers through spiritual guidance, so that they may come to know the living and all-encompassing God. The study of mystical wisdom and modern knowledge is just as conducive to this as the unfolding of the inner light through meditation and prayer, as well as the practice of the traditional liturgy.
We regard the freedom of thought and of religious development as essential qualities for an authentic response to the presence of God in our lives. We do not exert any dogmatic pressure and do not preach political messages.
Our altars are open to all who approach them with reverence, regardless of denomination, marital status or sexual orientation. Our priests are free to live in a partnership.
Anyone interested may attend the traditional service in Marburg. Holy Communion is generally reserved for baptised Christians. We carry out our work on a voluntary basis, but welcome donations.
For further information and to request sacramental services, feel free to contact us directly. The public celebration of the Holy Eucharist takes place by individual arrangement. Please register in advance.
