Within the Order of Stella Ogdoadica (O.S.O.), humanity’s spiritual heritage is made accessible to selected seekers through a system of symbols and initiations that has been handed down over the centuries. Our Order operates under the patronage of the Societas Rotae Fulgentis, which has authorised us, through a charter of succession, to transmit the Holy Light.

The international Order, based in Germany, enables its members to attain a state of highest consciousness through personal transmission and a sophisticated teaching system. It is an individual path of inner seeking and transformation, leading to the direct experience of the Divine.

The members of the Order lead their own lives in the world, yet are connected with one another across time and space. Although the practice of rituals, meditations and text studies takes place primarily solitary, there are regular (online) meetings of the Order in addition to the initiation ceremonies. Committed to the ideal of a spiritual family, advanced members volunteer to guide their companions, enabling them to develop in a spirit of love and mutual respect.

Spiritual development takes place through three degrees of initiation and a degree of completion. The three-step process is modelled on the structure and passage through an early Christian (Byzantine) basilica. Members of the Order’s inner circle who wish to commit themselves to service to God and the community may, provided they are suitably qualified, also receive the three ecclesiastical ordinations to the offices of deacon, priest and bishop.

The objective of the Order of Stella Ogdoadica is the realisation of a fully conscious, potent and loving oneness with all things. Through this, the initiate becomes a living mediator between heaven and earth, through whom the subtle energies of the cosmos flow naturally and effectively via their psyche.

During this preparatory phase, fundamental aspects of psycho-spiritual practice are taught and philosophical explanations are provided. This will help you to assess the extent of your identification with this unique tradition and to attune your psyche to its spiritual dynamics. Communication within the Order takes place in English and German.
